There are many photos of ENZO FERRARI, but this is one of the most famous.
It is, of course, ENZO FERRARI who shows his gentle expression.
He spent his whole life pouring everything he had into just one thing: "Winning races with a car that bore his name."
His honest passion, shown through the image of a Ferrari racing around the circuit, has touched the hearts of many people around the world.
Enzo passed away quietly in August 1988. At his funeral, a very precious funeral card was given only to close attendees.
Printed on the card is ENZO FERRARI wearing his familiar sunglasses and showing his gentle expression.
This photo is actually another cut taken at the same time as the photo was taken.
The one printed on the funeral card is sunglasses, but this is a regular eyeglass version.
Many photos of ENZO in his later years are of him wearing sunglasses, so the photos without them are very precious.
The photo on the funeral card and this photo were taken by the official photographer, Mr. Cavazzuti.
The photograph is signed by him and framed in ENZO's signature purple mat to match his favorite purple-ink fountain pen.
His final message: "I have dedicated my life to the automobile, the conquest of human freedom."
